Intelligence vs Wisdom


Intelligence might be defined simply as the ability to think logically.

Wisdom might be summerized as the ability to grasp human nature.

I believe wisdom is simply the skill of utilizing Intelligence. Wisdom involves the thoughtful application of intelligence, using knowledge and experience to make sound judgments and decisions. While intelligence provides the raw cognitive abilities, wisdom guides the practical use of those abilities.

Emotional intelligence is closely related to wisdom, especially in the context of relationships and decision-making. Wise individuals usually exhibit high emotional intelligence, allowing them to understand emotion and respond empathetically.
Wisdom encompasses a broad range of qualities, including emotional regulation, empathy, compassion, and the ability to make sound judgments based on emotional understanding and life experience.
Emotional intelligence is considered a component of both intelligence and wisdom, bridging the gap between cognitive abilities and interpersonal skills.
